Plane headed to Concepción with earthquake volunteers crashes | 4:23 p.m. ET
Local news site Latercera.com reports that a plane heading to Concepción crashed, killing all six passengers. The small Piper model plane carried six passengers intending to aid earthquake victims.
Victims have been identified as Marcelo Ruiz (pilot), Pablo Desbordes, Ignacio Fernández, Luis Ernesto Videla, Juan Guillermo Moya and Rodolfo Becker. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
